You can find out about the company you want to work for without even leaving campus

From the Career Development Center

On-campus interviewing
Just a reminder to juniors and seniors to check out the companies coming to campus to interview for internships and jobs. Even if you are graduating in May 2006, these interviews are for you.

Internships currently being advertised are in the areas of management, information technology and actuarial science. Full-time positions are in a wide variety of career areas such as sales, marketing, management, finance, accounting and actuarial science. More positions still could be added.

Visit the On-Campus Interviewing Web site and click on List of Participating Employers to view positions and see if you are interested. Then come to an Orientation to On-campus Interviewing seminar as noted on the Web site.

Employer Information Sessions
To find out more about companies that you may be interested in, attend an Employer Information Session. These open sessions are for anyone interested in learning more about specific companies. The dress code is casual. A presentation about opportunities at the company are followed by a chance to ask questions. Snacks and refreshments are served.

October Employer Information Sessions:

  • Guy Carpenter: 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4
  • Wells Fargo Bank: 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10
  • St. Paul Travelers: 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11

For locations and to register, visit the Career Development events Web site and click on Information Sessions.
