"The Other Side of Winter - How
to stay safe and enjoy Minnesota winter"

Winter is just around the
corner, so come and learn from winter expert, Lisa Mueller
(Assistant Director - Multicultural Student Services), about how
to stay safe and warm by knowing:
- Winter terms and what they
mean
- Stages of winter cold (Yes,
there are many stages)
- How to drive safely in
winter weather if you have a car
- Winter clothing
We will have a winter clothing
fashion show, entitled the "OISS Sashion Flow" to illustrate
what to wear and also what NOT to wear. Our models will be your
international student mentors who will be wearing the latest
trends in winter fashion. Come see us debut on the catwalk
following the winter information session above. Information for
this event is as follows:

Education Center Auditorium
Afterwards, we will have the
"After Party" in Scooter's where we will enjoy free pizza!

we can also make a stop on the way back to this store, which has
been legendary in offering a wide selection of winter coats.
We expect to be back to St.
Thomas around 5 pm.
