Your Culture through the Culture Link
Attention students!
Are you new to
the Twin Cities? Do you like meeting interesting people? Do you want
to make connections on campus and experience American culture in
your free time? Then, the Culture Link program organized by OISS is
for you! Become a Culture Link partner and share your culture with
the UST community.
What is the Culture Link program?
-
International students are connected with American students, UST
Faculty or Staff to facilitate cultural exchange within the UST
community.
-
Communication partners are assigned for one academic year based
on preferences indicated in the application form.
-
Culture Link partners meet at least twice a month and engage in
a variety of social activities.
The Culture
Link 2005 features:
-
New participants from
USA, Australia, Ireland, Japan, Uzbekistan, Argentina and other
countries.
-
Culture Link events
where you will meet other members of the program.
-
Lots of cultural
presentations, discussions and other fun activities.
-
Flexible time
commitment.
-
Infinite cultural
learning.
Culture Link
participants are looking forward to learning about your country,
culture and traditions! It’s easy to become a part of the Culture
Link. Fill out an online application at
http://www.stthomas.edu/oiss/forms/cl_international.asp by
September 19, and meet with your Culture Link partner by
the end of September.
Please
refer to the program
website or contact OISS for more information.
