How to send us news

Going abroad this summer?
Make sure to have your D2-2019 or I-20 signed
before you go!

Students can bring their I-20 or DS-2019 forms to OISS and an Advisor will sign it for travel.

We recommend that you call ahead and make a 15 minute appointment with an advisor to have your document signed.
We prefer appointments and not walk-ins.

In order to ensure that travel goes smoothly (particularly at the Port of Entry), here is a list of required and recommended documents:

Required documents
· Valid I-20 or DS-2019 with a recent advisor signature
· Valid passport
·Valid F-1 or J-1 visa stamp

Recommended Documents
·OISS status verification letter (http://www.stthomas.edu/oiss/forms/verification/default.html)
· Bank statements
· Official transcript from Registrar’s Office – if you do not have the time to receive an official transcript, we recommend that you print off an unofficial transcript through Murphy
· Fall schedule
