How to send us news
GMSA North Shore Trips coming up May 5 and 6!

GMSA members are invited to sign up for the North Shore trip on May 5 (Day-trip) or May 5-6 (Overnight trip).  Sign-up by Thursday at 4:00 pm for a spot! 

There is a $10 deposit for the Day-trip ($5 is returned to day-trip students during the trip) and a $20 deposit is required for the Overnight Trip.  Sign up sheets will be located in OISS (MHC 161).

Day Trip Itinerary
Saturday, May 5
8:00AM        Departure from UST Arches
10:30AM      Arrive at Duluth's Canal Park
11:00AM      Depart Canal Park for Gooseberry Falls 
12:00PM      Arrive at Gooseberry Falls (hiking and waterfalls)
12:15PM      Eat lunch
1:15PM        Depart Gooseberry Falls for Split Rock Lighthouse in Two Harbors
1:30PM        Arrive at Split Rock
3:00PM        Depart Split Rock for St. Thomas
5:00PM        Break for Dinner at highway stop (pay for your own meal)
7:30PM        Arrive at St. Thomas

Day Trip Itinerary AND Overnight at Cove Point Lodge Saturday, May 5
8:00AM        Departure from UST Arches
10:30AM      Arrive at Duluth's Canal Park
11:00AM      Depart Canal Park for Gooseberry Falls 
12:00PM      Arrive at Gooseberry Falls (hiking and waterfalls)
12:15PM      Eat lunch
1:15PM        Depart Gooseberry Falls for Split Rock Lighthouse in Two Harbors
1:30PM        Arrive at Split Rock
4:00PM        Depart Split Rock for Cove Point Lodge
5:00PM        Arrive at  Cove Point Lodge  and settle in
6:00PM        Dinner (food will be provided)
7:00PM        Free time (sleeping, swimming, sauna, etc.)

11:00am     Check-out and depart for St. Thomas

Travel Signature Day on Monday, May 14

OISS will host a Travel Signature Day on Monday, May 14 . Students can bring their I-20 or DS-2019 forms to OISS and an Advisor will sign it for travel. No appointment necessary!
