OISS
Staff Changes
In March, Pahoua Y. Hoffman resigned from her Assistant Director
position in OISS to accept a unique opportunity with the Minnesota
Public Television. The search for a new Assistant Director is
currently underway. On-campus interviews with the final candidates
will take place at the end of April. International Students and the
campus community will be invited to attend open interview sessions
with these candidates. Please plan to attend these sessions to meet
and ask questions of the candidates.
Interim Assistant Director
I am pleased to announce that Nicolas (Nico) Moreau has been
appointed the Interim Assistant Director in the Office of
International Student Services until the permanent Assistant
Director is selected. Nico has been working in OISS since 2003 as
the Office Coordinator. Nico graduated with his Bachelor degree in
Computer Science from the University of St. Thomas in 2003 and is
currently a graduate student in the Masters in Software Engineering
program. Nico brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the
University and OISS to his interim position.
Interim Office Coordinator
Please join me in welcoming Julie Quello as the Interim Office
Coordinator in the Office of International Student Services until
the permanent Assistant Director is selected. Julie graduated with
her Bachelor degree in Organizational Management and Psychology from
Gustavus Adolphus College in 2002. She participated in study abroad
experiences in Denmark and Germany and was a volunteer in Argentina.
Most recently, Julie worked as the Congregational Organizer for the
Saint Paul Area Council of Churches. Julie brings a variety of
skills and experiences to her interim position.
Please contact me if you have questions or need additional
information about the OISS staff changes.

The Muslim Students Association (MSA) is inviting you to a two-part
