Minnijean Brown Trickey
Wednesday, March 12 at
7:00 p.m.
O’Shaughnessy
Educational Center
We also encourage you to
attend our free public lecture and reception on Wednesday, March
12 at 7:00 pm in O’Shaughnessy Educational Center Auditorium.*
Minnijean Brown Trickey will be speaking on the subject of
Return to Little Rock. Minnijean Brown Trickey and eight other
young African-American students crossed the threshold of Little
Rock Central High School and into history in September, 1957.
Minnijean Brown Trickey provides audiences with a fascinating
exploration of social change, diversity, and the battle against
discrimination and racism. She helps her listeners to
understand both how far we have come from that day in Little
Rock, and how far we have still to go, in the battle for freedom
and equality in America.
