16th International Dinner and Dance 

"Taste the World"
Saturday, April 23rd 2005
6:00 - 8:30 pm

This event is organized by the Globally Minded Students Association and is sponsored by STAR.

The dinner will be held in the Student Dining Room, Murray Herrick Center, in the St. Paul Campus (see map here).
Tickets are available at the box office (651 962-6137) at:

Free Children under 5 yrs
$7 UST students & children under 12 yrs
$12 Others

Tickets will NOT be sold at the door.

The International Dinner includes a broad sampling of international cuisine and live entertainment from around the world. 

The dinner is followed by a FREE dance in Scooter’s from 9 pm to 12 am.

Last week to sign-up to carry your flag for graduation

Are you graduating this May? 

Would you like to carry your country's flag in the commencement ceremony? International students graduating in May will be able to carry their country's flag in the commencement procession. If you would like to represent your country, please contact OISS no later than Friday April 22nd 2005. Only one person per country and ceremony will be allowed to carry their country's flag.

The first person to sign up from a country will be that country's flag bearer. So, contact OISS immediately if you want to represent you country.

The following flags are no longer available for the following graduation ceremonies:
Undergraduate Ceremony: Canada
Graduate Ceremony: Belize, China, Colombia, Cost Rica, France, Germany, Ghana, Hungary, India, Nepal, Peru, St. Lucia and Tanzania.
