International Education Week 2014
University of St. Thomas
International Education Week (IEW) is a joint initiative through the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education. The week celebrates global education and awareness on campuses nationwide. The University of St. Thomas has participated in IEW for several years, and this year the week lands on November 17th-21st.
Monday, November 17th
IEW Kickoff: International Fashion Show
O’Shaughnessy Education Center Auditorium 6:30pm-8:00pm
The red carpet, the paparazzi, and “mocktails”! Members of the UST community present their traditional dress and modern fashions from their home countries or study abroad destinations.
Tuesday, November 18th
Campus Way in the Anderson Student Center
Explore the world right here at UST! Booths from many different countries respresented by UST and English Language Services students.
International Trivia Night
Dancing Ganesha Restaurant, Minneapolis (located on the 11th St. & Harmon Place)
Come and test your worldly knowledge at the International Trivia Night at Dancing Ganesha! Make a team of 4-6 people and sign up with Kendall Clements.
*Open to students, staff and faculty.

Friday, November 21st
Football (Soccer) Tournament
O’Shaughnessey Stadium (Rain site: McCarthy Gym)
UST students compete for the title in the world’s game! Join the world's favorite pastime and play against other Tommies and ELS students. Champions of the tournament will win a prize; beverages are provided. Teams will consist of seven or eight people. Sign up as a team or as an individual to be placed on a team. Email the team roster or your name to Scott Carpenter. Team names and uniform are encouraged.
