Optional Practical Training Form: Report Change in Employment, Address or E-mail

  • Effective April 8, 2008, F-1 visa students can not have more than 90 days of unemployment during the standard 12-month OPT.
  • Effective April 8, 2008, F-1 visa students granted a 17-month STEM OPT extension may not accrue an aggregate of more than 120 days of unemployment during the total 29-month OPT period.
  • During 12-month standard OPT, employment includes full-time, part-time, volunteer and unpaid work.
