About us - Megan LaFontaine

Hello!

My name is Megan LaFontaine and I am very excited to begin my first year as a Graduate Assistant in The Office of International Student Services. Born in San Carlos, Chile, I came to the United States at a very young age when my parents adopted me. Due to my strong connection to Chile, learning about and appreciating different cultures has always been an important part of my life. As a current Leadership in Student Affairs graduate student, I am thrilled to work with students and support them throughout college

Besides working with students, I enjoy discovering new places, events, and restaurants, staying active (biking, running, swimming, and dancing), and spending time with friends and family.
