Brian has been at St. Thomas since 1992. Prior to his work for University Relations, he worked in Business Affairs in both Minneapolis and St. Paul.
He has coordinated the development and launch of four magazines at St. Thomas (B., CAS Spotlight, Perspectives and St. Thomas Lawyer), and currently serves as editor of both St. Thomas and B. magazines. Brian leads the New Media Initiatives Group – a working committee that develops and implements social media policy, procedures and emerging marketing opportunities. He also serves on the university’s Sustainability Committee, is the staff adviser for KUST and has taught as an adjunct instructor in the English department. Brian graduated from Saint John’s University (Minn.) with a bachelor’s of science degree in business administration and has a M.A. in English from St. Thomas.

Kate has worked in University Relations since 2010. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in mass communications and public relations from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2002. She has worked in higher education for several years with previous roles at the Minnesota Private College Council and Normandale Community College.

Tom has worked in various roles at St. Thomas since 1987 -- as an editor, publications director, desktop publisher, and most recently with the Newsroom since 2002. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from St. Thomas in 1975 and was a suburban newspaper reporter and editor in White Bear Lake much of the late-1970s and the 1980s. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1967 to 1970
