Due to an enthusiastic response, the Luann Dummer Center for Women will add a third book discussion of New York Times columnist Gail Collins’ When Everything Changed: The Amazing Journey of American Women from 1960 to the Present.
The new discussion session will be held Thursday, March 3. Previously scheduled discussions will be held Wednesday, Feb. 23, and Friday, March 4. All three sessions will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in the Luann Dummer Center for Women, Room 103, O’Shaughnessy Educational Center. A few slots remain open for the Feb. 23 and March 4 discussions.
The book discussions will be held in preparation for Collins’ presentation of the 18th annual Luann Dummer Lecture in celebration of Women’s History Month at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, in the O’Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium.
To register for a book discussion, e-mail Pat Alexander, indicating your position as student, faculty, staff or “other,” and include your mailbox number. A copy of Collins’ book will be sent to participants.
