More than 200 UST students, alumni, and friends of the university gathered for the inaugural UST Intersections speaker series November 10. The event featured General Mills Chief Marketing Officer Mark Addicks and Opus College of Business Dean Christopher Puto.
The dialog between Mr. Addicks and Dr. Puto discussed the importance of both theory and practice in developing a successful marketing strategy. Dean Puto offered an academic lens to the notable marketing perspective that Mr. Addicks shared from his experiences within General Mills.
Topics for the evening covered a broad scope of the marketing world, ranging from the power of brand to the shift in marketing estranges with the ever evolving world of social media.
