The Wellness Committee, in conjunction with the Non-exempt and Exempt Staff Councils, announces the first annual Wellness Week, April 13-17.

Attend events to earn points and increase your Vitality status.

Monday, April 13:

Leadership Academy Course: Key Vitamins and Minerals for Good Health
11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in McNeely Hall, Room 100

Tuesday, April 14:

Wellness brown bag in St. Paul, sponsored by both staff councils
“Beyond the Binary; Support Trans* and Gender Non-Conforming Victim/Survivors of Sexual Violence”
Noon-1 p.m. in Woulfe Alumni Hall North, Anderson Student Center
35 Vitality Points for attending

Minneapolis Vitality Q&A brown bag, sponsored by the Wellness Committee
Learn more about the university’s Vitality Wellness Program, an interactive, rewards-based program, which you can use to set wellness goals and develop individualized wellness plans.
3-4 p.m. in Terrence Murphy Hall, Room 401

Wednesday, April 15:

Tent event on the plaza with Run N’ Fun, sponsored by the Wellness Committee
Run N’ Fun will have sample shoes and will conduct a gait analysis for you.
11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., John P. Monahan Plaza, St. Paul Campus

Tommie Walkers
Every Wednesday in both St. Paul and Minneapolis, groups of employees get together to walk and talk. A weekly email is sent out every Wednesday morning with meeting time and walk route information. In St. Paul, the Tommie Walkers meet in the AARC at noon; in Minneapolis the Tommie Walkers meet in Food for Thought.
