Wellness Center says 'do' on Thanksgiving; assess your drinking behavior with 'e-CHUG'

Groove your body 10 minutes, three times a day: The St. Thomas Wellness Center encourages you to "do" on Thanksgiving. How about a walk after Thanksgiving dinner or a trip to the gym over the long weekend? The center has free one-day passes to Life Time Fitness. Pick up yours today in the center, Room 13 (lower level), Koch Commons.

Introducing e-CHUG: The Wellness Center has introduced e-CHUG (an electronic Check-Up to Go), an interactive Web survey that allows college and university students to enter information about their drinking patterns and receive feedback about their alcohol use. Take a five-minute, anonymous survey and learn more about your behavior so you can make healthy choices.

Learn about caloric intake and alcohol, how your behavior compares to others, what percent of your income you spend on alcohol, family risk and more. It's interesting, easy and educational. Visit the Wellness Center Web site to give e-CHUG a try.
