The March Through the Arches to welcome the newest St. Thomas students has been rescheduled for Thursday, Sept. 8, at 5 p.m. The original march was postponed due to inclement weather Tuesday.
New first-year, transfer and international students will gather on the Summit Avenue side of the Arches at 5 p.m. After a brief welcome from university President Julie Sullivan, Vice President for Enrollment Management Daniel Meyer and Undergraduate Student Government President Mayzer Muhammad, students will walk through the Arches to the applause of faculty, staff, fellow students and some families.
Be sure to wear your Tommie purple!
To welcome the new students, line the sidewalks from the Arches all the way to John P. Monahan Plaza, where there will be a reception following the march.
Help our newest students celebrate their first of many Tommie Traditions and join your colleagues on the plaza in giving them a warm St. Thomas welcome!
