Want to read your limerick on the radio? St. Thomas Newsroom March 3, 2000 There once was a student in green, who wanted to do the St. Patrick’s day scene. His limerick was smart and he dressed the part, so he was off in the SCA flying machine! Ruth and the staff of “The Ruth Koscielak Show” will broadcast live from the Hubert H. Humphrey Terminal at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport from 1 to 4 p.m. today. St. Thomas students are invited to join in a limerick contest and compete to win tickets to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Boston. The radio show and Sun Country Airlines are sponsoring the event. Two listeners with the best Irish costume and a limerick about Sun Country Airlines will win round-trip transportation for two, departing March 17 with an open return date. “The Ruth Koscielak Show” plans to have St. Thomas students read some of their limericks on the air. For those who want to listen, tune in to 1220 AM. Other prizes include theater tickets, food coupons and Irish trinkets.
