VISION schedules information sessions
VISION, Volunteers In Service Internationally Or Nationally, organizes student-led service-immersion trips over J-Term and spring break. The trips offer students opportunities to be fully integrated into a community and culture different from their own, while connecting with other St. Thomas students in their group.
VISION will be going to seven sites this J-Term:
• Uganda
• San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala
• San Felix, Venezuela
• Belfast, Northern Ireland
• Montgomery, Alabama
• Texas-Mexico border
• New Orleans, Louisiana
Information sessions will be held throughout September and October prior to the Oct. 9 application date. Sessions will beheld in Room 152, Murray-Herrick Campus Center, on these dates:
• Thursday, Sept 13 – noon to 1 p.m.
• Tuesday, Sept. 18 – noon to 1 p.m.
• Wednesday, Sept. 19 – noon to 1 p.m.
• Thursday, Sept. 20 – noon to 1 p.m.
• Tues. Sept. 25 – noon to 1 p.m.
• Wednesday, Sept. 26 – 7 to 8 p.m.
• Thursday, Sept. 27 – noon to 1 p.m.
• Sunday, Sept. 30 – noon to 1 p.m.
