Volunteers in Action's next event for Tommie Outreach is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 20. Tommie Outreach volunteers will work with Habitat for Humanity from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on two houses in St. Paul. Transportation will be provided.
Tommie Outreach is a new site for VIA this year. "It is a great opportunity to get involved with service work, but does not require a weekly commitment like other VIA sites," said Nick Yannarelly, VIA site leader. "Tommie Outreach is also a perfect way for students to get service hours for the clubs or organizations they are involved in."
