John Pojar, a junior in the St. Thomas School of Continuing Studies and the husband of Elizabeth Pojar, associate director of the St. Thomas Alumni Association, died Thursday in his St. Paul home. He was 34.
A cause of death has not been determined. Pojar became ill Wednesday evening, and paramedics were unable to revive him when they were called to the couple’s St. Paul home on Thursday.
In addition to his wife, a 1986 St. Thomas alumna who has worked for the Alumni Association since 1991, survivors include a son, Joseph; his parents; and two sisters.
Services are pending. Arrangements will be handled by Mueller-Bies Funeral Home of Roseville, and a funeral Mass will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Minneapolis.
