Skrypek never had a losing season in 40 years of coaching at Hill-Murray High School and, for the past 23 years, at the University of St. Thomas. He had more than 800 wins with the two programs and guided the Tommies to 22 regular-season and playoff championships in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference as well as two NCAA Division III championship games (2000 and 2005).   • "Obituary: Dr. Frank Preston known for integrity, talent," Star Tribune, March 25, 2010. In the 1940s, he studied pre-med at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul and was captain of the swimming team. He earned his bachelor's and doctorate at the University of Minnesota.

She will speak about what she and her colleagues faced in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, when more people than ever faced mental-health crises at a time when there were fewer hospital and other resources to help them."
