In this editorial about the proposed Bridges of St. Paul development, the paper writes, “The project would include condos, retail stores, a hotel, botanical gardens and other tourist attractions, public parking, public access to the river, a marina and distinct architecture.   • “Religious news around town,” Star Tribune, Sept. 23, 2006. “Chapel work brings honors for St. Paul artist: St. Paul sacred artist Alexander Tylevich has won two design awards for his work on the St. Thomas More Chapel at the University of St. Thomas School of Law. The awards were made in a competition co-sponsored by Faith & Form: The Interfaith Journal on Religion, Art and Architecture and the Interfaith Forum on Religion, Art and Architecture, part of the American Institute of Architects. Tylevich, 59, a Belarus native, created the chapel's bronze-relief doors, stained-glass windows and crucifix.   • The following caption appeared under a photo on Page 5B of the Star Tribune, Sept. 23, 2006: "With his wife, University of St. Thomas law Prof. Elizabeth Schiltz, holding the Bible, Patrick Schiltz was sworn in Friday by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia as the 33rd judge to serve in the District of Minnesota during ceremonies at the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis. Behind the Schiltzes were their four children, from left, Katherine, Peter (obscured), Joseph and Anna. Patrick Schiltz, a former clerk for Scalia and former associate dean of the law school, was nominated by President Bush in 2005, confirmed by the U.S. Senate in May and took office on May 30."   • “Obituary: Dr. Leo Hanvik helped dyslexia patients,” Star Tribune, Sept. 24, 2006. “Hanvik grew up in Minneapolis, where he enjoyed fishing in Minnehaha Creek as a child, and graduated from De La Salle High School in 1933, his wife said.
