Counseling and Career Services is offering two one-hour communications skills workshops for students:
- “Conflict Management” will be held at noon Tuesday, Nov. 16, in Room 155, Murray-Herrick Campus Center. Conflict is a part of everyday life and can surface in the workplace, with roommates, friends, teachers, significant others and family. Learn ways to talk to others about conflict, how to resolve conflict in a productive way and how to manage your own feelings around conflict.
- “Communication Styles” will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, in Room 12, lower level of Koch Commons. Good communication is key to meaningful relationships and success in the work world. This workshop will examine different communication styles and essential elements of effective communication. Attend this workshop and identify ways to be even more effective in your interactions with others.
Registration is not necessary for either workshop; feel free to bring a bag lunch.
