Tutor-Mentor Program accepting applications for student director positions

The Tutor-Mentor Program is accepting applications for several student-director positions for the 2003-2004 school year.  The position runs the duration of the school year (September to May).  Student directors work an average of six to 12 hours per week.

Responsibilities include:

  • Administering the program for teachers and volunteers at two partner schools and programs
  • Training new tutors and providing ongoing reflection for program participants
  • Tutoring elementary or secondary students at one site each semester.

Applications are available in the Center for Community Partnerships, Room 153, Murray-Herrick Campus Center, and are due by Friday, April 11. Candidates will be interviewed between April 14 and 16.
