TPT to broadcast UST forum on Holy Land peace efforts

"Interfaith Bridges to Holy Land Peace," a broadcast of a forum held at the University of St. Thomas on Dec. 2, 2008, will premiere on Twin Cities Public Television at 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, on TPT's Channel 17.

The broadcast also is slated for 8 p.m. Monday, March 2, and 2 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, on TPT's statewide digital Minnesota Channel, tptMN. Watch local listings for other rebroadcasts of the forum, about the controversial Israeli-Palestinian situation and attempts to encourage mutual understanding and peace-making.

The forum was sponsored by the UST President's Office, the College of Arts and Sciences' Muslim-Christian Dialogue Center and by the Jay Phillips Center for Jewish-Christian Learning, a partnership of St. Thomas and St. John's University in Collegeville.

"Robert Pastor's Views on NAFTA," a TPT rebroadcast of another St. Thomas program, will be shown on tptMN at 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, and at midnight and 6 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 9.
