Tommy Hip-Hop Night to benefit needy families

The Black Empowerment Student Alliance will sponsor Tommy Hip-Hop Night from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, in Room 304, Murray-Herrick Campus Center. A DJ will play reggae, hip-hop and more.

The event is a charitable food drive to benefit the Phyllis Wheatley Community Center. Bring three nonperishable food items or a $5 donation for admission. With the coming Thanksgiving holiday, the goal is to provide enough food for 20 families.

For more information, contact Raichel Brown, (651) 497-3949, or send an e-mail to the Black Student Alliance.
