Theology film series to feature 'Crimes and Misdemeanors' Oct. 18
Join in the discussion after watching "Crimes and Misdemeanors" at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, in Room 126, John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts.
Dr. David Landry will lead a discussion of the film.
"Crimes and Misdemeanors," directed by Woody Allen in 1989, stars Martin Landau, Woody Allen, Anjelica Huston and Mia Farrow.
In two separate stories of adultery, a New York doctor (Martin Landau) resorts to desperate measures to cover up his long-term adulterous affair. An unhappily married documentary filmmaker (Woody Allen) fights an adulterous temptation while making his latest documentary on a TV producer. The movie can be viewed theologically as a retelling of the David and Bathsheba story.
