A talk on “From Dislocation to Dislocation: The Experiences of Women in Afghanistan” will be given from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, in the Luann Dummer Center for Women, Room 103, O’Shaughnessy Educational Center.

The talk is free and open to the public.

Dr. Cris Toffolo of UST’s Political Science Department, and Dr. Charles Amjad-Ali, Martin Luther King Jr. Professor of Justice and Christian Community at Luther Seminary, will discuss the situation of women in Afghanistan under the Taliban regime.

In addition, information tables located in the O’Shaughnessy Educational Center foyer will provide opportunities to sign petitions, make donations and learn more about this issue.
