The Healing of America: A Global Quest for Better, Cheaper and Fairer Health Care Clark Gregor February 16, 2011 T. R. Reid Next Monday, February 21, renowned journalist T.R. Reid will visit the University of St. Thomas to discuss his experiences covering health care and international issues. Reid has reported from three dozen countries on five continents, and in 2009, he published another book, The Healing of America, a national best-seller. This work will provide some of the content for Monday’s presentation. Reid’s resume is extensive, his credentials impressive, but he is most importantly an engaging speaker and passionate journalist. You have likely heard him on NPR’s “Morning Edition.” He will be on campus as part of the Minnesota Public Radio Broadcast Journalist Series. This is a free event but you will need a ticket, so get yours today! Cindy Lorah, Manager of Marketing and Recruitment for the Health Care UST MBA program, attended a presentation by Reid at a medical industry conference. She shared her thoughts in the High Performance Health Care blog, which makes great “pre-reading” for his upcoming visit to campus.
