Study abroad: Travel to Tanzania with School of Education for summer 2010 studies

Information sessions will be held this week on opportunities to travel to Tanzania with the School of Education in summer 2010.

Education in Tanzania – EDUC 210 or TEGR 510

Experience Tanzanian culture and analyze challenges unique to education in Tanzania. This program will satisfy the introductory course requirement for the Teacher Education program.

Leadership in International Contexts – EDLD 869

Participants in Leadership in International Contexts will have the opportunity to meet with President Kikwite and the U.S. ambassador to Tanzania, and to visit schools, universities, NGOs, local businesses, HIV-AIDS clinics, and Ruaha National Park.
