Talk on 'Living with HIV/AIDS in 2008' is today
Ken Rodgers, trained as a teacher and a nurse, has been living with HIV for almost two decades. He worked for a time at Clinic 42, a medical facility that specialized in care for people living with HIV/AIDS.
Rodgers will give a presentation on "Living with HIV/AIDS in 2008" at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, in O'Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium. Everyone is welcome; there is no charge.
He will share his perspective about the early days of the epidemic, the development in approaches to treatment and care, and challenges confronting those living with the virus in the United States today. He also will take questions from the audience.
