International Education Center presents two study-abroad events this week

Is study abroad in your future? The first step to making it so is to visit the Study Abroad Fair tomorrow hosted by the International Education Center. For students who already have journeyed abroad, they are invited to attend a new informational series for study abroad returnees, which begins this afternoon.

Study Abroad Returnee Series
Wednesday, Feb. 10

Semester study-abroad returnees are invited to attend this new informational series. The first session will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, Feb. 10, in the Fireside Room, Murray-Herrick Campus Center.

The four-part series will focus on different aspects of the returnee experience. Students who attend three of the four sessions will be eligible to win a prize. The first session, “Reverse Culture Shock and the Challenges of Coming Home,” will address some of the unique challenges faced by study-abroad returnees and will give tips on how to successfully re-engage in life at UST. Register for the sessions here.

The International Education Center will hold its annual Study Abroad Fair from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, in Campus Square, located in the lower level of Murray-Herrick Campus Center.
