Student organizations: Human Resources Management Club and Political Science Club St. Thomas Newsroom September 27, 2004 Student organizations: Human Resources Management Club and Political Science Club Human Resources Management Club: Anyone who is interested in human resource management is invited to attend the first HR club meeting of the semester. The meeting will be held at noon Tuesday, Sept. 28, in Room 104, McNeely Hall.Activities for this semester will be discussed, so come with your ideas and suggestions for skills and experiences this club should provide. Pizza and beverages will be served. The Human Resources Management Club provides an opportunity for students with an interest in human resources to increase their experience with HR topics and issues beyond classroom activities.A key feature of the club is networking opportunities with community human resources practitioners. Club members receive student memberships in the Twin Cities Human Resources Association. This association also provides networking opportunities leading to internships and full-time employment. Student members also are eligible to join the Society for Human Resource Management, as student associates, at the national level. Questions?
