Student Legacy Speaker Series Welcomes Charlotte Kinzley Feb. 28

The Student Legacy Program’s speaker series, a yearlong program that features philanthropists and development professionals, returns this week with a new guest, conversation and pizza.

Charlotte Kinzley from Sharing and Caring Hands will speak at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, in Room 238, Anderson Student Center. She will talk about her work as a family advocate and spokeswoman for Sharing and Caring Hands, a successful charity founded by Mary Jo Copeland, as well as her work with Mary’s Place. All students who are interested in philanthropy and the Student Legacy Program are invited to attend.

Members of the Student Legacy Committee help to increase student awareness of alumni programming and the importance of giving back to the university.

Throughout the year, committee members will help plan:

  • It Takes More Than Tuition Day
  • Student Legacy Speaker Series
  • Moskalik Society events
  • Tommie Match Day
  • Senior Class Gift
  • Many other fundraising events
