The St. Thomas Health Service, located in the lower level of Brady Residence Hall, will begin administering the 1999-2000 flu vaccine on Monday, Oct. 18, during its office hours (no appointments are needed):

  • 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays
  • 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Flu shots will be administered until Health Service’s vaccine supply is depleted.

Students living in the residence halls and students with a chronic disease such as asthma or diabetes especially are encouraged to get the vaccination. The shot is free to students.

Staff and faculty may receive the vaccinations either through their primary health care provider or through the Health Service. There will be a $5 charge that must be paid at the time of service.

Only commuter students may get their flu shots from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Oct. 20, and from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, in the Commuter Center, lower level, Murray-Herrick Campus Center.

The flu-shot schedule at the Minneapolis campus is:

  • Students — 4:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, in Room 441, campus building
  • Faculty and staff — 1-3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, in Room 346, Opus Hall
