Would you like to speak with potential students, parents and alumni, and general fairgoers? Now is your chance to share your knowledge of and pride in St. Thomas as a volunteer. You’ll meet other members of the St. Thomas community and receive a free admission ticket. Labor Day weekend volunteers receive two extra admission tickets.This year the fair runs Thursday, Aug. 25, through Labor Day. Shifts at the booth last three hours and begin at 9 a.m., noon, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Five people will be assigned to each shift; faculty, staff, students and alumni are welcome to volunteer. Register early to get the date and time that works best for you. The most popular time slots fill up quickly!St. Thomas employees who wish to volunteer at the booth during their regular work hours must obtain supervisor approval prior to signing up for a shift. Hourly employees may sign up for one three-hour shift during their regular work hours and will be paid the three hours at the booth plus one additional hour to compensate for travel.For the eighth year, booth volunteers will give away the popular purple tote bags.
