STAR presents six events this week:

Tuesday, Nov. 9

The Poker Night question is: “Should you raise or call?” This Texas Hold ’em Tournament is open to all students. The games begin at 6:30 p.m. at Scooter’s.

Wednesday, Nov. 10

STAR invites students to a make-your-own ice cream sundae competition. Win prizes at 9 p.m. at Scooter’s.

Thursday, Nov. 11

  • It’s Thursday Night Live with Maggie McClure, whose music has been heard on MTV’s “The Hills” and “The City” and CBS’s “The Young and the Restless.” Listen to her music here; read more about her here. She’ll perform at 9 p.m. at Scooter’s.
  • Tickets for a trip to Buca di Beppo go on sale at noon Thursday, Nov. 11, in the Box Office. Buses will transport students to the restaurant at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17. Buca di Beppo is an authentic Italian restaurant where dishes are served family style and are meant to be shared.

Saturday, Nov. 13

  • Meet Fanamaniacs at 6:30 p.m. at the Flynn Hall turnaround to get a free UST winter hat. Buses will take fans to Augsburg College to cheer for the women’s hockey team.
  • Stuff a Tommie – Tommies After Dark has done it again. Here’s your chance to stuff and personalize your very own Tommie plush animal. TAD will host the fun from 10 p.m. to midnight in the Koch Commons Fireside Lounge.
