Craig Karges, who explores extraordinary phenomena that include those unexplained mysteries that lie between science and the supernatural, will give a UST Family Weekend performance at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, in O’Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium.

When Karges was 15, his great uncle died, leaving an extensive collection of manuscripts, journals and books dealing with magic, mentalism, spiritualism and parapsychology. This led Karges to perform as a magician and mentalist during high school and college.

Today, Performance magazine calls him one of the country’s top five variety entertainers. He’s been on “The Tonight Show” and “Larry King Live” and other TV shows.

St. Thomas Activities and Recreation hosts Karges’ UST appearance, which is free and open to the public.
