The St. Thomas Veterans Association is sponsoring a toy drive for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program.

Toys are being accepted at multiple locations until Friday, Dec. 20, including:

  • School of Law, Room 124 (Minneapolis campus)
  • Child Development Center (St. Paul campus)
  • Tommie Central, Anderson Student Center (St. Paul campus)
  • McNeely Hall, Room 128 (St. Paul campus)

If you would like to make a donation but are unable to get to any of these locations, arrangements can be made via email.

Examples of preferred toys include action figures, baby toys, dolls, Nerf guns and puzzles. The Marine Corps Reserve does not accept toys that are used or look like realistic weapons. Clothes, food or liquid produces (e.g., cologne, perfume, body wash, lotion and toothpaste) also are not accepted. Homemade toys are accepted but should be safe (e.g., free of sharp edges and small items that could be swallowed or otherwise injure children).

Gift cards are accepted and are used to purchase toys for distribution.
