St. Thomas Announces Partnership with EduCo

St. Thomas will be partnering with global education group EduCo to improve international student access. The strategic collaboration will leverage EduCo’s international recruitment and student support expertise.

As part of the university's new strategic plan, St. Thomas 2020: Living Our Mission, Expanding Our Horizon, St. Thomas affirmed its conviction to diversity. St. Thomas strives to create a vibrant, diverse community in which, together, we work for a more just and inclusive society. That work includes greater geographical outreach, with which EduCo will assist.

"Establishing a partnership with EduCo International Group is a natural outgrowth of the strategic plan as St. Thomas undertakes positive steps to internationalize our student body and campus," said Daniel Meyer, vice president for enrollment management. "We are especially pleased to work with EduCo International in this endeavor given their success in this area and the proven track record of persistence their students have achieved in their studies in the U.S."

Under the agreement, EduCo will provide targeted international student recruitment, integration and support services, coupled with specialist pathway programs, to boost international student enrollment, retention and graduation rates.

EduCo is a global education group that owns and operates colleges and university campuses in Australia and Canada, and through joint venture partnerships, delivers programs in the United States.
