University parking permits will be required in resident lots Sunday, Feb. 4, and beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 7, in employee and commuter lots. During this time, all other parking regulations will be enforced. This includes restricted lots (P, Q, T), handicapped spaces, fire lanes, loading docks, meters, Catholic Digest spaces, SJV, Rideshare and all other restricted and/or reserved spaces.

Semester permits: St. Paul campus parking permits are $80 for a semester permit (valid Jan. 29-Aug. 31) and $55 for a semester evening-only permit (valid 5 p.m.-2 a.m.). Employees may purchase permits through payroll deduction; permits purchased in this manner are nonrefundable.

Resident permits: A limited number of resident student permits will be available on a lottery basis for sophomores, juniors and seniors. All fall lottery applications automatically will be submitted in the lottery. Any new application should be submitted by today (Monday, Jan. 29). The majority of permits awarded will be south campus resident permits. More north campus permits may be awarded at a later date.

Resident students, please note: Overnight parking will not be allowed in employee nor commuter lots during the first week of classes nor at any other time. All vehicles parked in employee and commuter lots without permission between 2 a.m. and 5 p.m. will be subject to ticketing.
