The St. Thomas Office for Diversity and Inclusion will welcome speaker and activist Tayo Rockson, who will host an interactive session  on "Leadership in the Global World" on Friday, Nov. 11, from 6-7:30 p.m. in McNeely Hall, Room 100.

Rockson is an nontraditional visionary, storyteller, speaker and activist dedicated to building a more culturally aware generation of global leaders. Attendees to his session will learn how to use cultural intelligence to build a career an be a better global leader.

He is the editor of BrandEdU and the CEO of UYD Media. Both companies are committed to helping millennials pursue their passions in careers they love while making a difference. His work has been seen on NowThis News, Huffington Post, Among Worlds magazine and Global Living magazine.

He is an expert on third culture kids and assimilation into new cultures. He is the author of The Ultimate Guide to TCK Living; and through his podcast and blog, he is heard and read by thousands of people in more than 100 countries.
