The University of St. Thomas will celebrate Solemn Vespers at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, in the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas. Vespers, or evening prayer, is a service open to people all faiths that will include psalms, petitions and music by the university’s Women’s Choir. Father Dennis Dease, president emeritus, will preside. Solemn Vespers is an opportunity to remember our beloved dead and celebrate the communion of saints.
The public is welcome. The chapel is on the university’s St. Paul campus, on Cleveland Avenue near Laurel Avenue.
