If you are interested in building your business skills while contributing to your community, UST’s Students in Free Enterprise may be the group for you.

Open to all majors, this club is all about helping those in need. SIFE offers work experience and leadership opportunities through the many projects it undertakes throughout the school year to better the local and global community.

Projects include:

  • SAYBC, a business club for young kids to help them learn and practice entrepreneurship.
  • Burundi, a project that is helping welders in Africa use new equipment and stimulate their economy.
  • The Sam’s Club sustainability challenge, which enables SIFE to help businesses become environmentally friendly and sustainable.

“These are just a few of the many projects we’ve created, and we are always looking for new ideas,” remarked SIFE’s Kelly Boelter.

If this sounds like a group for you, SIFE invites you to attend its meeting during convo hour today, Thursday, Sept. 22, in Room 228, McNeely Hall. Lunch will be provided.
