Sidewalk superintendents can follow parking facility construction online

Being a sidewalk superintendent has never been easier.

A video camera perched atop Owens Science Hall is following the construction of the Anderson Parking Facility on the university's south campus, and sidewalk superintendents never have to leave the office to view it. Just click here to view it online.

Currently, construction crews are working on the footings and foundations for the northwest stair tower, elevator lobby and walls. When completed, the five-level facility will hold 725 cars.

Ryan Companies began construction Monday, May 19, on the former tennis court site near the southwest corner of Cretin and Grand avenues. The project is expected to take about nine months.
