Screening of 'Muhammad: Legacy of a Prophet' here April 10-11
The Muslim Students Association will host a two-part film screening of "Muhammad: Legacy of a Prophet," a PBS documentary presenting the life and history of Muhammad (PBUH) and interweaving it with the current lives of American Muslims post-911. The film is being shown on the occasion of Al-Mawled Al-Nabawi, the celebration of Muhammad's birthday.
The film will be followed by a discussion and question-and-answer session led by Dr. Adil Ozdemir, a theology and Middle Eastern studies faculty member at the University of St. Thomas.
Here is the schedule:
- Part 1 – 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 10
- Part 2 – 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 11
