Schulze School Alumnus Named a Top Midwest Entrepreneur

Mason Thelen ’04, a serial entrepreneur and CEO of customer-intelligence company Elicit, is a Finalist for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the Upper Midwest. Thelen was selected for this honor by a panel of independent judges selected from companies in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota. Elicit works with many Fortune 500 clients, helping them better understand and interact with their customers.

Not only has Thelen founded multiple companies, but he’s worked on innovation teams in large businesses, serves on boards of directors, and volunteers his time mentoring and judging student entrepreneurship competitions at St. Thomas. In addition to his recognition as an entrepreneur, Direct Marketing News named him to its list of America’s 40 most influential marketers under age 40.
