Remembering St. Thomas' Response to 9/11

The 10th anniversary of the tragedies of 9/11 is upon us.

At the University of St. Thomas, the victims of these tragedies will be remembered and honored during the 11 a.m. Mass on Sunday, Sept. 11, in the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas. This Mass also is the Opening Mass for the school year.

For those who wish to reflect on how St. Thomas reacted, remembered, honored and reflected on the happenings of 9/11, view the following articles from the St. Thomas Magazine, The Scroll and Bulletin Today.

Peace flags, an initiative of the Globally Minded Student Association, hung on campus trees following 9/11.

If you’d like to leave a comment about your memories of 9/11, visit St. Thomas’ Facebook page.
