Please remember in your prayers Tom McGivern ’69, of Davenport, Iowa, who died Thursday, Aug. 29, after a brief illness. McGivern, 66, was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Among the survivors are two sisters and five brothers, including Jay McGivern ’78; Gene McGivern, St. Thomas’ sports information director; sister-in-law Barbara Lammers McGivern ’90, M.B.A. ’09; and niece Bridget McGivern, a St. Thomas freshman.
A family service was held in Davenport on Monday, Sept. 9.
